Cookie Care

Eating your cookie right away is always the best option, who could resist? But if you happen to have a little willpower, there are a few easy ways to keep it fresh and just as delicious for later.

For the Best Freshness

Transfer your cookies to an airtight container as soon as possible. For longer storage, place the sealed container in the freezer. Properly stored cookies can maintain their flavor and texture for up to one month.
Though Freezing is not necessary if you plan to enjoy them within the next few days. Simply keep them tightly sealed at room temperature or place them in a Refrigerator.

Enjoying a Frozen Cookie

Allow the cookie to thaw in its sealed container at room temperature. Once thawed, place it in a preheated oven at 350°F for 3–5 minutes, or until warm and soft. You can also place the frozen cookie in the pre-heated oven then turn it off to slowly reheat the cookie

Enjoying a Refrigerated Cookie

Microwave the cookie in 5-second increments until it is warm and soft. Heating times may vary depending on your microwave and the type of cookie. Be careful not to overheat it as this can alter the texture.

Pro Tip

Did your cookies become a little dry? Place a fresh slice of white bread or a marshmallow inside the airtight container with them. Through moisture migration, the cookies will gradually absorb some of the moisture and soften again. Remove the bread/marshmallow once the desired texture is restored.
